Model Guidelines

Below are guidelines that models must adhere to while they are in the Salon for services and during the Photo Shoot.

Consultation

Model consultations are to be scheduled accordingly with Gia's appointments, not to interfere with client's appointments.  Models are to arrive on time for their consultations.  Consultation time is when we will discuss the services, hair color, and style the model will acquire before the Photo Shoot.

Service Appointments

Service appointments are to be scheduled accordingly with Gia's appointments, not to interfere with client's appointments.  If a paying client needs to be scheduled at a time when a model has an appointment, the model must move their appointment to another time or day.  All service appointments are to be provided at the scheduled time, do not be late.  If a model misses a service appointment without calling to reschedule, they have violated their modeling contract and will no longer be eligible for future modeling or regular hair appointments with Gia.  

Models may not receive the following services more than once.  This means that if a model wishes to upkeep the following services after their initial free modeling contract, then they will be responsible for full price on their services.

Salon Etiquette 

Models do not pay for their services, therefore they are not considered as "clients", and do not have the same privileges salon clients do.  Models should be respectful to all Employees and Salon Clients at all times.  If ever a model is rude, difficult, or offends an Employee, Gia, or a Salon Client, they will be released from any scheduled modeling shoots, and be responsible for paying full price on the services they acquired while in the Salon.  Models are to be pleasant while in the Salon, not to talk loud about personal or private matters, and keep cell phone calls to a minimum.  Models who have children are required to leave them at home with a babysitter unless Gia states otherwise.

Photo Shoots

Photo Shoots are to take place on the date specified on the Modeling Contract.  If a model has to reschedule the photo shoot for personal reasons, they have 14 days from the original scheduled photo shoot to rebook if there is an available opening.  If a model fails to reschedule within 14 days from the original date, due to personal reasons or no openings in another photo shoot, the model will be responsible for paying full price on the services they acquired.  The reason that models must reschedule within 14 days is so that the hairstyle and color will still be fresh.

Acquired Photos

Any and all photographic material acquired from a photo shoot is subject for use in any form or manner Gia may use it as (i.e. brochures, web design, ect).  Models waive any and all rights to inspect or approve any of the finished or unfinished photographs, videotapes, posters, or reproductions in the modeling contract.
